Automotive medium/heavy duty bus dealership based in Pelham, Alabama is seeking experienced Mobile-Road Technician covering the south Alabama area to join our team. We have an immediate opening for a strong, self-motivated individual with knowledge of medium/heavy duty bus and/or truck repairs. We promote a team atmosphere with the number one goal of putting the customer’s needs 1st!

Requirements

• Previous experience in bus/truck/auto service preferred
• Superior customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of electrical and engine repairs needed, with Cummins engine certification a plus+
• Experience in CDK or other automotive dealership management software preferred
• Valid Driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL, clean driving record
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, as well as random testing

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers to provide timely service repairs
• Follow diagnostic repair plans as required by manufacturer
• Meet/exceed service sales goals by building relationships and providing superior service
• Work in conjunction with parts department to order parts needed to complete repairs
• Work with management and coworkers to prepare customer repairs for payment or for submission to warranty in a timely manner, consistent with established guidelines
• Maintain proper inventory on company vehicle to expedite common repairs
• Help maintain a neat/clean appearance of company vehicle
• Recognize and communicate new potential sales opportunities to management
